Playcentre Aotearoa are looking for a confident leader with superb administration and people management skills.
The Whānau Programme Lead is the magic behind our well-regarded programmes like Space at Playcentre. They are responsible for the planning and general coordination of our programmes as well as managing the team of facilitators who deliver the programmes in our Playcentres. The Whānau Programme Lead will strive to encourage the growth of our programmes across the region while ensuring the smooth operation of current programmes.
Position Description:
This is a permanent part-time position available working 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday based at our Upper North Island Office in Henderson, Auckland.
The ideal candidate would begin as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent relationship management skills – proven ability to interact effectively and confidently with a range of stakeholders
- Prior experience leading/coordinating the delivery of programmes, and managing a team of people
- Experience and confidence when working with Microsoft Office suite
- An understanding of te ao Māori, including an appreciation of matauranga Māori, tikanga Māori and te reo Māori.

- Intelligence, an inquisitive mind, a can-do attitude, and a good sense of humour
- Accuracy and attention to detail as well as the ability to see the whole picture
- Flexibility and the ability to deal with issues as they arise
- Sound judgement, a great work ethic and ability to work independently
