Playcentre Aotearoa are inviting applications from competent administrators interested in supporting our centres to run efficiently and remain compliant.
The Kaimahi is responsible for a range of tasks including the day-to-day administrative tasks of the centre to allow centre whānau to focus on their tamariki, adult education and their community.
Successful candidates will need to have a good understanding of ECE legislation and licencing requirements alongside strong communication and relationship management skills, and good attention to detail. You will be organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task. Playcentre or ECE experience and good knowledge of Playcentre Aotearoa policies and procedures is advantageous.
Position Description:
We have positions available in the North and South Islands, supporting multiple centres. Weekly hours are negotiable and working hours are generally during session times although flexibility will be required at times to meet centre needs. These positions are permanent.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in a similar position, and ECE or Playcentre experience is useful
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Organised – excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
