Silverdale

Nau mai, haere mai and welcome to Silverdale Playcentre 

At Playcentre, families come together and lifelong friendships are formed.  We welcome families with children aged 0 – 6 years.  

Playcentre is unlike any other early childhood education organisation. At Playcentre, kaiako (teachers) are our parents and caregivers.  The curiosity and creativity of our tamariki is nurtured in a way that allows them to learn about themselves and their world through child-led play.  Playcentre parents all bring different skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds to add to the rich learning environment. 

Sessions run at our centre on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9.00am to 12.00noon.  

‘E tūtaki ana ngā kapua o te rangi, kei runga te Mangōroa e kōpae pū ana’.  The clouds in the sky gather, but above them extends the Milky Way’.
