Freemans Bay

For more than 40 years, Freemans Bay Playcentre has been supporting children and families to play, learn and grow together.

With a focus on valuing and affirming parents as the first and best educators of their children, we offer quality early childhood education within a community atmosphere.

The Education Review Office visited Freemans Bay Playcentre in March 2015 and found that we are “very well placed” to promote positive learning outcomes for children – the highest possible rating awarded.

Located on the corner of Franklin Road, Wellington and Collingwood Streets, Freemans Bay Playcentre services the communities of the CBD, Freemans Bay, Ponsonby, Grey Lynn and the surrounds.
